$121.99
7-Band: 75/80, 40, 20, 17, 12, 10, & 6 meters. 135 feet (45+90) long.

Can be used as a off center fed shortwave antenna to provide continuous coverage from 500 kHz to 60 MHzSWL

Quickly switch bands and eliminate a tuner as one more thing to adjust. Eliminate send/receive tuner loss.

Due to the fact that one wire leg of the antenna is shorter than the other, the OCF is more convenient to erect than a regular center fed dipole. Less coax is required.

Check the SWR always BEFORE using with any antenna tuner.

HIGH STRENGTH AERIAL WIRES

Poly-STEALTH  High Strength Aerial Wires are manufactured with high strength, high conductivity Bare Copper-Clad Steel (BCCS) and insulated with a high quality UV Resistant Polyethylene to provide you with one of the strongest and longest lasting antenna wires on the market today.

 POLYS-13:

The strongest wire of the group is ideal for the longest of wire runs with or without additional support.

Advantages to Poly-STEALTH  High Strength Aerial Wires:

Ideal balance of strength and flexibility

Low-Gloss finish and small size makes wire disappear into the background

Superior abrasion resistance for running through trees

UV & Weather resistant for use on the seacoast or in other harsh environments subjected to acid rain, high wind, or high snow and ice loads.

The W2AU is the preferred Balun of Amateurs worldwide. W2AU’s operate at a low VSWR from 1.8 to 40 mHz, and handle powers up to 2 KW PEP (at SWRs of less than 3:1). W2AU Baluns are transformer designs with ferrite cores to provide 95% minimum coupling efficiency. Each has a built-in lightning arrestor, hang up hook, and 600 lbs of pull-apart strength in a weatherized, rugged package using only stainless steel hardware and quality materials. Two models are available. The 1:1 matches 50(75) ohms unbalanced coax to 50(75) balanced dipoles. The 4:1 matches 50(75) ohm unbalanced coax to 200(300) ohm folded dipoles.

No trimming - fully assembled, complete and ready to go with end insulators and crimped center and end connections.

Add your 50 Ohm coaxial feed line, suspension rope and go

Can be hung Flat or inverted V configuration.     Remember stay away from power lines.

7 band ocf dipole

Bob Church on 25th Aug 2018

Box arrived heavily damaged (and marked so by USPS... their mis-handling from the looks of things). Contents survived unscathed. Clear insulation, not black as pictured. That may be crucial to some who want to hide it in the trees in an HOA restrictive environment (what I used to do). Well manufactured and sturdy but not tested yet on the air. I will update when I get to put RF to it.

OCF Dipole 7 band 80 -6

Rick on 27th Mar 2018

You are not going to find a better antenna than this one. The quality workmanship is far superior than others. The antenna works on the bands as advertised with low SWR. This is the second antenna I purchased from them. The original was for 160 meters and I cannot say a bad word about the antenna. The order was shipped and arrived sooner than I expected. They are a great company . If you want an antenna that is fully assembled and ready to go this is the antenna for you. I would not hesitate from ordering another one should the need arise.

Easy to install, works great!

Bob Mesenbrink on 14th Mar 2018

I chose this antenna because of its multiband capabilities and how it fit where I wanted to install it. My very first QSOs from here in Denver were to eastern Nebraska; Oklahoma; and Washington, on 20, 40 and 80 meters, so I am very pleased with that. My old tube transceiver is able to tune up the antenna on the bands I've tried with no trouble. It was a breeze to install the flexweave cable without tangles or kinks.

OCF, Chapter two

Robert F White on 22nd May 2017

i had used an OCF at my other station in Nova Scotia for years with great success, so when it came time for a new antenna here in Maine, it was a no-brainer. The new antenna is installed at about 30 feet, with the legs at a shallow slope. A quick fun through the bands showed almost no need for a tuner, and great reception on 75, 40, 20, 17, and 15. I still have some finish work to do on the install, but i'm positive I will be very happy. The construction is first rate; I imagine the antenna will outlast the mast that's holding it up.

Great General Purpose Antenna

Scott on 10th Feb 2017

The XYL (K3TBD) and I (K3IVN) set up a ham station at my parents house so we could work from a more rural location than our home QTH. the antenna was set up as a sloper from 45 feet to 25 feet above ground. We seemed to have better reception and dx transmitting with this than our ZS6BKW G5RV (also from NI4L). Worked winter field day for a few hours and got 29 states in 4 hours and quite a few DX stations as well. Our rig is an older Icom IC736 that we use with that antenna. I'm really impressed with the performance! 73 de K3IVN

High quality multiband OCF, JUST PLAIN WORKS!

George on 17th Nov 2016

Excellent Quality, High Performance. Very well made. Works far better than a simple dipole or G5RV.

Couldn't ask for more!

Jay Newman (KG5LLP) on 11th Oct 2016

This is my second NI4L antenna. I use this one as my "portable" antenna and currently have it installed at approximately 50' at my camp. With 100 watts, I have worked the world. I have this antenna connected to a Yaesu FT-991 and love the fact that I can receive signals from all corners of the globe. I have logged contacts around the world. As far as build quality, this is an incredible deal. Check out how much a swaging tool, jewler's wire and a balun will cost and you will see this can't be beat.

Just what it is advertised to be

Bart on 5th Mar 2016

Excellent response when ordered, well made and just as advertised. The OCF is the best kind of multi-band wire dipole because of the feed point impedance is relatively close to 50 ohms over the bands covered and does not have the feedline radiation problems of the G5RV style antennas. And it does just what it is supposed to do, receives a bit better than my vertical and is much quieter as well even though it is bent around a bit to fit into my small lot. Note to Chris - sorry it took a while to get to this review, took awhile to get it up!!! I'll blame snow even though it didn't come until later on.
